The Huckster has had a number of years to perfect how he would deal with the pardon issue. He is perfectly capable of saying on one hand that he is a Christian minister and that he was moved by his love of Jesus to offer forgiveness to some who seemed to have earned it but that he has firmly gotten the message now, maybe even from the big guy looking down, that justice must be served in this world blah blah. He has better verbal skills than the average Republican. But by 2016 his hard line against Gay Marriage will sink him with younger voters especially.

Actually, that was debunked. In reality, it isn't happening, and would backfire.

He knows that any GOP primary contender will use it against him. It's why he didn't run this cycle.
