seems like they can put up what they want... and that Chavez is an appropriate subject given that he was honored with a day.

Also, easter is a religious holiday. Why would a company that has little stake in the holiday market put themselves out there to alienate a large section of their user base? The reason there are easter eggs and rabbits in Walmart (in February) is not because they're so very righteous and Christian... they'd give them away if they were. It's because they make money on the holiday.

The more I think about it, the more I wonder how good Christians have been so quiet while their holidays have been co-opted by corporations. They're manipulated into buying by their faith and they don't care. They get angry when their emotions aren't played with to make money. It's actually pretty incredible.
