Just to point out out - it is more than 20 year since USSR was any treat to anyone - as it is more than 20 year since USSR was devolved into Russia - and 15 new states, who have struggled ever since to really find their way in the world....

When it come to PRC, I'm not sure PRC is "in the corner" of the DKPR. As the current leadership have stated pretty clear, that they are not amused about DKPRs actions - specially the last nuclear device they blow up -made Beijing everything other than happy.. And unusable for PRC, a rather angry foreign minister told the world about how they was displeased with the actions of DKPR..

Iran is not even close to DKPR - and I doubt they will do anything stupid in their area of influence - even thought the _danger_ for anything to happened is there, the interest of DKPR and Iran is far from the same..

Cuba - I doubt Cuba will do anything to go to war with USA, and with the world, when supporting DKPR... The geographic and political scene is so different in Cuba - and DKPR, so I doubt Cuba will risk what they have been able to do, the last 15 years - to play on that stage.. The current leadership in Cuba, is not stupid enough to lose everything they have managed to build up - and will continue to build up in the years ahead.. Not to say, when USA and Cuba finally got on a friendly page - and ordinary trade and commerce can start in earnest...

In this DKPR is more than just withouth friends - I doubt they wil find any allies either - I doubt PRC wil risk the last 20 year of progress, over DKPR...
