violent offenders out of prison who are displaying 'good behavior' while under guard. That's a given, they see the balance of power confronting them and restrain themselves.

But to get there, they proved they are willing to indulge their desires on those they see as weaker when they had their freedom and liberty before.

Although every case is different, too many people seem to regard lack of criminal offenses against the public while incarcerated as an indication of what that person will do on release.

So the authorities find a reason to cut costs and allow them out early, when nothing has changed the individual to not indulge themselves on release.

That was my point. I have no interest in this person's view. It is one thing to have problems and another to harm others. He crossed the line and must be removed from society for the public good.

If they can get to the root of the problem, they need to do so. I doubt the state of Texas has the funding to keep him long. They'll find a reason. I feel badly for his family and those he injured, though.
