I mean, isn't this why you don't do things at the last minute? Because shit happens? I've never had any sympathy for people who can't seem to get things done until one minute after the deadline. Pisses me off when they get special treatment, because I've known too many of them. And I'm not talking extenuating circumstances, like a tornado blew your house away in mid-March.
