...if Ted Nugent resigns.

He used to be looked at as almost a deity here in Michigan, until he buggered off to Crawford, Texas to stick his nose up George W. Bush's arse.

Granted, the rural areas of Michigan still have loads of pickups bearing "TED NUGENT FOR PRESIDENT" bumper stickers, but in the cities...I think most see him for what he is: a has-been rock star whose last real hit album was Scream Dream, in 1979, and who only gains notoriety with his big pie hole.

That includes in Detroit. (Trivia buffs note: The "Motor City Madman" is NOT from Detroit. He is from Redford Township, a suburb of Detroit, and grew up in Chicago. I remember when his mother, Marion "Ma" Nugent, wrote an often-entertaining column for the Illinois Entertainer, a rock tabloid out of Chicago.)
