.... if they did start funding real pathways to cures regardless of political/religious mores, but used, say, the probability of success as a guide. (hello stem cell research!)...
then heavily distributed the news of that plan of support to the public....
and their coffers overflowed with donations from everywhere.
IOW, it'd be nice if these recent stupid mistakes were not only proven to be wrong, but actually counterproductive in the most universal sense (who doesn't want a cure for cancer.... besides insurance companies?) for all to clearly see.
