First of all, it's HER foundation.
Second, she has family members and friends on the board to protect her position.
Third, Handel's anti-choice stance was very well known long before she was hired; she was more than likely hired BECAUSE of that stance rather than in spite of it. Her "resignation" is damage control, not come-to-Jesus (pun intended).
Fourth, Brinker et al are far too heavily invested in maintaining the status quo of the corporate cancer CAUSING industry as well as the cancer TREATING industry to ever change their tune and start looking too closely for causes and preventions.
Just mho, of course.
