Some dumb ass with a machine gun has been killing cattle in East Texas near where a bunch of my relatives live. A real battlefield machine gun. At night too. One wonders if they are working their way up the food chain.

Eventually a bunch of these hotheads are going to turn their guns on each other at some NRA convention. In the meantime, the rest of us would like to practice our right to sit at home in peace, without the fear of errant bullets killing us in bed. Or tank rounds. That's right, some brain-damaged lead huffers down here are still demanding their "right" to own and bear tanks. Sounds like bad strategy against someone with a kitchen sink nuke. Nevertheless, these pussies in Congress are liable to give them the right because they are scared to death of the kooks they enabled in the first place.

There is simply no way to shame the majority of Congress into doing the right thing. The unarmed majority of Americans will have to designate days to gather and shutdown state and federal legislatures, and the streets of neighborhoods where the cowards live.
