54. Man offers to destroy guns for free

Apparently, he got threats from the gun owners and rescinded his offer. The attitude seems to be if you don't want your guns, you MUST sell them to keep the "babies" around in circulation. They don't want you to destroy your own PROPERTY, and this is what guns are, PROPERTY.

I can't find the article but one legislator said the NRA was contacting them to support this Arizona law. Surprised????? If I should inherit my husband's guns, I will not sell them. I want them destroyed and out of circulation, even if I have to find a way to do that myself. Far easier to just hand them in to the police IF they will destroy them, but I won't if the police would resell them.
