Body cremated in a cardboard box and ashes spread by his lawyer with some perhaps going to the parents. I am sure lots of people would be willing to take a dump on his grave given a chance.
Most serial killers and the like are cremated now days because of the likelihood of desecration. Oswald's grave was protected from desecration so this is not a new phenomenon. Lanza's body was buried in secret after being processed in an undisclosed funeral home.
I do agree that protesting the funeral home was behaving badly. On the other hand his religion attributes great importance to his body, and he was nothing but a monster who caused great suffering. Since he assigns value to his corpse, desecration in a sense is hurting him (not that I would do it).
