But the look on Archie's face and what he said are burnt into my consciousness. That old coot had such a weird way of being right and wrong at the same time. My second favorite quote was when he'd lost his job and someone reminded him that FDR said the only thing we have to fear is fear itself. Archie replied, "Yeah, and he was employed when he said it!"
The only other comedy show that really came close in quality, except maybe Mash, was Frazier. I like brilliantly facetious humor. Today's trash-talking morons just make me sick.
