Or, the Obama foundation had its shit together with the paperwork and requirements to speed things along, instead of forming out of thin air and making little pretense of being something other than political. Who knows?

They are absolutely not the same. A 501(c)(3) ruling is less complicated than a 501(c)(4).

Do your paperwork w/ history correctly thats the way IRS works for nonprofit, retroactive part also.
