(36,392 posts)36. I dunno. When I was a kid everyone on my little league team dreamt of playing
for the Yankees. These kinds of aspirations are common and not necessarily ruinous. Most of us do it WHILE going to school, and then at some point we realize it isn't going to happen (I was 2nd string on the HS varsity), due most of the time to limitations beyond our control. But she is spot on that the youth should not shoot for the NBA at the expense of an education
