It is a conserted effort from the rightwing and those calling themselves purists on the Left to attach blame to the Obama Administration. Lerner should resign period after her stunt with the apology. She did not defend the Policy but instead tried to place blame on low level employees or left the perception this was targeting by Democrats on conservative groups. Yet like with FOX and the Talking points, they try to create an atmosphere of the Obama Administration either being corrupt or incompetent. You have to be smart to look through all this smoke and identify who has the real daggers and their real motives.
The best way to do it is to look at whom they are defending, to know which side they are really for. Fox and the corporate media to a lesser degree, are staunch supporters of the Republican agenda. Miss Lerner placed blame on the IRS targeting conservatives but was no where to be found during the NAACP debacle. She got her authority during Republican Administrations and was there through their administrations while Liberal organizations were targeted by Republicans. She is also from corporate America. Then with Benghazi, Rice was painted by the same people as corrupt and blood thirsty in favor of Kerry, who initiated the same Policies, they accused of Rice. This is all to cause confusion, enabling the Right in their efforts to gain power once again. Lerner has declared innocence, well we shall see after the DOJ's investigation led by Holder. Holder by the way is the Attorney General, these same people are increasing their cries on for resigning. I hope he remains put and continue to investigate them. We will know if this woman is innocent or the cat that ate the canary, from Holder's investigation. She needed counsel and to invoke the fifth because Holder's investigation is the only one I trust in the matter.
