Another "grassroots" effort brought to you by one of the largest contributors to campaigns for Republicans or against Democrats in existence.

In its right-wing campaign efforts alone, the NRA outspends the Club for Growth, Koch Industries and Wal-Mart -- and this is completely apart from its lobbying spending.

By any measure it is a completely bug-nuts knuckledragging conservative cesspool, built from the ground up to not merely give a voice to gun owners, but to work to elect more Republicans and fewer Democrats -- by a huge margin (74:1, if you're counting).

They're buying our Democracy with direct donations in excess of $1 million annually EACH from companies like Smith & Wesson, Beretta, Ruger, and nearly every other manufacturer of arms and ammunition on the planet. Plus $21 million per year in ad sales for its print magazine.

"Grassroots" my ass.
