the agent was "left alone" with the suspect to apply some enhanced interrogation, the agent underestimated the amount of blowback he'd get, and things escalated from there??

I'm not saying one speculation is better than the other, but this whole thing is fuckin' weird...I don't care how dumb/ignorant/psychotic/roided up he may or may not have been; and I don't care if he just stepped off the immigrant ferry with no concept whatsoever on how LEOs operate in this country...He *HAD* to have known that singlehandedly attacking an armed FBI agent during an interview was as good as suicide...
