(9,446 posts)Mark O' Mara did not in any way, shape, or form unintentionally "misrepresent the nature" of the videos. I think a regular person would be able to tell the difference between two people fighting over a bike and two young people beating up someone. O' Mara is a lawyer, so I would think he would be competent enough to know whether a video showed two young people beating up a homeless person or two homeless people fighting over a bike.
The real reason for putting out the information about the videos and misleading people is that O' Mara hoped he would not get caught. He probably also put the information out there for those who would not pay enough attention in order to later learn that he had misled people about the video contents. He may have also been going for the people who only get their information from anti-Trayvon Martin sources that would most likely never tell their viewers/listeners that O' Mara had misled people.
