Speculation is rife about an illicit affair in the halls of 10 Downing St, which it's feared could bring down the British Prime Minister.
According to British media, Cameron has held crisis talks after a story on the mysterious liaison ran in The Mail on Sunday.
Those involved in the affair apparently can't be named for legal reasons, but the Telegraph reported Cameron was "shocked" to hear the news.
It was understood neither party was a senior government official, but the Daily Mail said Cameron was "stunned" by the news, the importance of which he realised "immediately".
