The Democratic Party was never Democrat Party. The Party was originally the Democratic-Republican Party in Jefferson's days. Democrat Party is and was used, pejoratively, by Republicans, making it into an epithet. Then the Republicans finally returned to common sense and merely used Democratic Party when referring to their opposition party for decades . . . until Newt Gingrich revived the "Democrat Party" label in the early 1990's when Bill Clinton, not GHWBush, won the White House.

I guess they're ok referring to our Party as Democratic Party only when Republicans hold power. The moment the Democratic Party holds power, they revert back to "Democrat" Party. Childish behavior, and it should be called out as such, but it also helps to show how petty one political party really is and what huge sore losers they are in heart and soul.
