It's just taken us this long to get the attention of the rest of the Dems across the country. DNC/DLC/whoever, wrote us off as a lost cause after Dumbya and are only now taking interest again. We've had to work hard to get this far. It sure would be nice to have national backing and help again.

I just went through the list of senators, by district, and noticed the strong Democratic representation along the border with Mexico. San Antonio's got a lot of good Democrats, too.

One reason I went through the list was to find a rather disrespectful Repub that tried to interrupt Sen. Davis yesterday and without permission. Turns out it was Bob Deuell. I'd recognize that long white hair anywhere now. At least when I saw him on the streaming video, he looked downright pissed, so I would bet he was likely apoplectic when the vote was found to be taken too late.

Too bad no one took photos of them when they learned that (or if they did, haven't posted them yet.)
