In reply to the discussion: Davis Says Voting Documents Altered After Filibuster [View all]sheshe2
(95,594 posts)71. Well Senator Dan Patrick should sure know
A lot about Shame. The GOP party damn well wrote the book on it!
Sen. Dan Patrick (R-Houston), who authored the infamous pre-abortion sonogram bill in 2011, wasnt so thrilled with the outburst from the gallery that halted the vote. It was inappropriate, he said. It was a shame. Asked if he was blaming the crowd, Patrick said, We shouldnt have been here on the last day of a 30-day session.

They really are dead men walking are they not. They are dead inside, they just have not had the sense to drop to the ground. A quote last night~
I've been talking for awhile now about how what we're witnessing is the white male patriarchy in its death throes. Yesterday 5 Justices on the Supreme Court were the latest to lash out when they basically issued a ruling that guts the Voting Rights Act.
And so the dying beast is lashing out.
And so the dying beast is lashing out.

I don't believe they are religious at all. I think they are using the religious for personal gain.

At that level, perhaps not, although I think some do. Their voting block believes it enough to kill.

Then the secretary and president must take the fall. They are responsible for the official record.
