Dan Patrick (R-Houston), who authored the infamous pre-abortion sonogram bill in 2011, wasn’t so thrilled with the outburst from the gallery that halted the vote. “It was inappropriate,” he said. “It was a shame.” Asked if he was blaming the crowd, Patrick said, “We shouldn’t have been here on the last day of a 30-day session.”
