there are many who willingly and gratefully submit to an absolute surveillance state.

Their argument: they *like it*. And they fear those who don't.

These aren't really "hawks". They surrendered without a fight, without even knowing what the surrender was about, and that isn't "hawkish". These are more like "turnips".

I hold them beneath contempt.
