Because that's what will happen. Regardless of the perceived justice, rationale, reasons, or whatever; the simple fact of the matter is that the US military will come down like a ton of bricks on any nation that seizes a US President, be he (or her) Repubican, Democratic, or Green. The American people, half of whom voted for Bush, will not permit it.

Not saying it's fair. Not saying it's right. Just saying that that's what would happen. Could you see Putin being arrested in France? Xin in Japan? Some things just don't happen.
