So what? They're "considering" it? That means that, under another president, or simply anytime Obama has a change of heart, we can be spied on again, wholesale, like we are right now.

This makes the spying a matter of policy, not a matter of law. WE NEED TO GET RID OF THE PATRIOT ACT. Period.
