That's what I always hear from the apologists from the money grubbers. I guess it did build character when I was young and going through it. But now, at 51, I'm quite the character or so I'm told so I guess I've had enough character building. Now in place of "it builds character" I guess I'd just have to say "this shit gets old"

Not bullshit at all. it's not been that high in perhaps 100 years, so it's inferring a valid point.
