TWC did not remove CBS. The contract between TWC and CBS was up for renewal. At 5PM EST, the contract between CBS and TWC expired, and TWC was legally forced to stop rebroadcast CBS until a new contract was drawn up. CBS wanted a 600% increase in rebroadcast fees. TWC was negotiating a better deal.
