Weiner today said he is sticking with his potty-mouthed press secretary, telling reporters “You bet!” when asked if Morgan still had a job after her maniacal meltdown. “It’s a very tough job. Everyone who has ever worked for him understands the pressure she’s under,” a former Weiner staffer said of Morgan.

Last week, an incensed Morgan called Post reporters and editors and unleashed several expletive-laden rants on Weiner’s behalf. She later said her curse-filled diatribes were “off the record.”

Yesterday, Morgan called Nuzzi a fame-hungry “bitch” who “sucked” at her job in a rant to TPM, a political website. She went on to call Nuzzi a “f-cking tw-at".

Women can be every bit as nasty and sexist as men, and there's no need to 'spin' any of that. It was quite clear to me that Morgan is a woman - kinda hard to miss it, really.
