Don't blame the homeless in Hawaii for wanting to stay. I didn't want to leave the place, and I had a ticket.

There's no jobs to speak of. A large chunk of my high school graduating class left.

In my experience, most of the homeless are not in that position due to losing a job.

They got the idea from Mainland welfare agencies, who tried to send people to the Islands
