15. Ross Township is pretty rural,

but most of the people who have moved here over the last 20 years or so are transplants from New Jersey and New York City. My guesstimate is that the newcomers outnumber the native stock now. Still a lot of farmers, but it's not unusual to see women in stiletto heels shopping at the local supermarket; probably not farm wives. Years ago, people spoke Pennsylvania German at the deli, but I haven't heard that in a long time.
