I can't find anything about her dying, except at Wiki.

Caril Ann Fugate (born July 30, 1943 - August 6, 2013) was the adolescent girlfriend and accomplice of spree killer Charles Starkweather.[1] She is the youngest female in United States history to have been tried for first-degree murder.

ON EDIT: The WWMT update saying an unnamed source said she was dead has been removed, so it looks like she might still be alive, since the news story saying she was critically injured hasn't changed.
