29. Russia is not going to war over cruise missle strikes, and we can not invade Syria by Thursday

with ground forces. There has been no buildup of conventional ground forces in the region. Everything says this will be a limited air campaign, likely with cruise missiles because Syria has a very good Air Defense system that would take a lot of time and effort to dismantle. We could not dismantle it without considerable effort, time, and a lot ordnance and probable loss of life and aircraft.

Russia and China stand as the only winners of this exchange, since anything we destroy they will have to sell to Assad. Cha-Ching.

Iran has also threatened to attack Israel, but threatening to do that is what they do. I've wondered if the country owns stock in the gas mask industry because they sell like hot potatoes every time a sabre rattles.

One correction. The various weapons industries will make a killing over this. Cha-Ching.
