You're speaking about a "lifestyle" but what lifestyle is that? All of what you're saying is pure conjecture.

And how is the mother, grandmother, aunts, and whomever else supposed to know what's going on with the kid at all times? Are they psychic? People can't read minds and some kids are troubled and can't or won't speak to their parents for whatever reason (and maybe it's possible this kid was troubled and didn't feel comfortable talking to family about these issues - but there's nothing here indicating that and it's irrelevant here). Either way, that doesn't make her parents "equally to blame" as the rapist. And I don't even know where you're going with your rambling about pornography and skimpy clothes.

The rapist is the one at fault and the judge is abetting and pretty much condoning such behavior. It's repulsive and this is as shocking as something we hear about in other countries like India. It's amazing that even in our country attorneys and judges are still blaming rape victims. Sick.
