We need public financing of federal elections so players like the NRA are taken out of the picture on elections and laws can get passed on the merits. There is a correlation between the quantity of guns and number of shootings as one would expect. Clearly, these mass shootings are on the increase and will continue to increase until something gets done about this. And Citizens United is not a player in just events like today. It is a major player in the total dysfunction in Congress where dirty money has bought us the Congress we have today.

I also have to wonder about whether people are being planted to disrupt government operations. We know that Snowden was a recent plant as a contractor to mine NSA and leak our security secrets. Now we have another recent hire contractor so it begs the question. It clearly doesn't look like someone going postal.
