8. Understanding the workplace issue helps understand the mental health issue

His mental health issues may have triggered a "poor response" to his workplace issues. Figuring out if that was the trigger is helpful in analyzing his mental health issues - we can't ask him questions, so we have to use what tools we can to figure out what was going on in his mind.
