Democrat McAuliffe Has Slight Edge in Va. Governor's Race: Poll

Democrat Terry McAuliffe, a businessman and former Democratic National Committee chairman, holds a narrow lead in the race for Virginia governor against Republican Ken Cuccinelli, according to poll results released on Tuesday.

McAuliffe leads with 43 percent over Cuccinelli's 38 percent among likely voters that include those undecided but leaning toward a candidate for November's election, according to the survey by NBC4/NBC News and the Marist College Institute for Public Opinion.
