In this "its all about ME ME ME" world in which we now live, it is often difficult for me to wrap my head around the way people react to situations like this.
For me, I want to HELP if I can HELP.
It was not good, that was for sure. That poor young woman .... the screams ...
I could not have possibly hung-up on her! No, that is not the kind of person that I am.
Maybe it helped her in some small way is all I can say/hope.
Nothing wrong with trying to help a stranger, not in my book anyway, esp. during a freakin' disaster!

Thank you. I keep seeing the doorway thing and that is outdated. Table or desk is best.
