14. Because they describe his mother in law as his landlord, it would see the house was

furnished or semi-furnished when he rented it. When he moved he took it with him, or sold it while he was living there. Because it's considered part of the rental agreement, it's a civil matter. Also, with it being his mother in law they may not have had a lease so that could prove problematic. That's my guess. People are arrested criminally for doing that, especially taking appliances, so it would be interesting to see if it's Florida's laws that don't allow it or lack of documentation by the landlord.
