I just think that the fact that someone was able to steal/download thousands of classified documents makes lax security at that facility fairly self evident. My hypothetical view is this: If you find the vault of a bank open and no one guarding it and you take $10000, would that not be stealing? To me the lack of adequate security in no way mitigates the stealing.
