146. I agree in general, but

there are just some people who are out-and-out evil, who will never reform, never change, and will willfully do horrible things to others. Men who do these things need to be stopped--even if it never happens in real life.

Sometimes I imagine the Dick Cheneys, the Karl Roves, Grover Norquists, James Dobsons and other morally condemned people were truly gone, and what amazing things could happen with them gone. A true flushing out of the evil genes in the world could be all we need for a future better than what we have now.

If there is even an iota of redemptive DNA in their bodies, it's one thing. But some of these people are as sick as sociopaths we see articles about every day. Sick and twisted bastards, for whom there is nothing worth saving in the end.
