When you spread out the risk, I (a non-drinker) am paying for liver transplants, I don't drive yet I'm still going to be paying for all the schmucks who drive drunk or recklessly and get hurt (and their victims) - everybody winds up paying for everyone else. Since the woman didn't get pregnant all by herself (the assumption this is not IVF related), why shouldn't men have to contribute?
