to ask congress to repeal the "unwarranted $4 billion in annual subsides handed out to oil and gas companies"

and then have a tax holiday of Federal taxes on the price of gas. Use the money saved not giving the gas companies tax breaks to use for the money lost at the pump?

Sounds like something the public would love.

Does anyone know how much we pay at the pump per gallon in federal taxes?
