There is no confirmation as to the authenticity of the claims. And there probably can be none. A "previously unknown" group could easily be a completely fictitious one.

There has been no evidence advanced as to the identities of the two men on the motorbike who committed the act.

That this claim of responsibility should come more than two weeks after the murders on Nov. 1st makes it all the more dubious.

The murders themselves had the character of a gangland hit, which would not be the least surprising given Golden Dawn's heavy involvement in racketeering.
