Clinton "receives the top award." Nobody received the top award. They all got the same award with the same recognition and appreciation of their varying achievements.

Some of them were Late Basketball Coach Dean's wife, accepting for him, Oprah Winfrey, Richard Lugar, for his relentless struggle to remove all nuclear weapons left over from the cold war, Loretta Lynn, Editor Ben Bradlee from the Washington Post who printed the Vietnam war beginnings, Paster Vivian, Jazz artist (name escapes me), Susan Ride, deceased, award received by lesbian partner, a scientist who figured out how fluorocarbons were messing up the atmosphere, late Sen. Daniel Inouye s wife, Gloria Steinem, Ernie Banks, and a few others, most of whom made my eyes tear up, and I loved watching it, even the Clinton part, but he was not given the top award.

It's on CSpan tonight. Watch it, please, you may agree with my review.
