As a combat veteran, the hardest part for me was coming home. Although I hated the war and I would say that I hated fighting in one, I miss it tremendously. Having had nearly 10 years to reflect on my time in Iraq, I've come to realize that if I had the opportunity to go back that I'd do it in a heartbeat regardless of the danger.

I'm willing to bet that returning to North Korea and even being held as a prisoner probably gives him a sense of closure that most of us could never understand.
