In reply to the discussion: Westboro Baptists ‘booking flights’ for Johannesburg to protest Mandela’s funeral [View all]hue
I suspect they will understand - it is LIMITS to how they can treat others if they was ever to leave the US... In South Africa - as most country's do have some limits to "free speech" and I guess trying to disturb the funeral of Nelson Mandela would be seen as a affront to South Africa in general.... I doubt South Africa also have some "1th admedment" as they have it in US - and I have the feeling if they want to play it the same way as they do it in the US, they might discover that others tend to be more fysical than in the US..
The big questioning would be, if they was allowed to visit South Africa at all - I suspect it is no waiver agreement between South Africa and US - so they have to do some paperwork at the South African Embassy - or the nearest consulate.. And I guess (I hope at least) members of the Wesboro Baptist Church are on some list - and the person would be denied aces to South Africa...
But then again - I guess they would not travel to South Africa at all - just smoke and mirror to make some noise...
