2. I am heartbroken.

As Americans, we should be ashamed. There is no reason in the world that so many of our nation's kids should be killed by guns. When are we all going to stand up and DEMAND some strict gun control laws? Why do we as a nation allow the NRA to bully us? No one is saying that Americans can't have their guns for hunting, etc. We want to outlaw assault weapons and we want background checks. Are we asking too much? How many more of our children are going to be killed? One would think that in a sane nation something would have been done after Newtown. How sad is it that it's unnerving to go to a mall, a theater, or to school.
