Part of the problem is that so much focus is put on the Middle East it takes our eye off what is happening in Asia. It's not just the war in Afghanistan and Iraq. The conflict between Israel and the Palestinians, conflicts in Syria, unrest in Egypt, etc. The Middle East sucks so much time and resources out of our country it is just disgusting. While I think we should help, countries who are not cooperating in way that fosters peace should get nothing. No financial aid, no food, nothing.
