You can just be an advocate of the means to conveniently KILL them placing you in the debate as an adverse party!
Ask yourself for what you are advocating and for what purpose.
Ask yourself for whom you are advocating.
Don't take it too personally.
Just realize that your desire to have guns has nothing to do with the safety of those you think it does.
