The rest of the world other than Russia, Nigeria and Uganda are moving ahead out of the blind bigotry of the past. I can see it getting very ugly there, especially after the Olympic cameras have left. Because as more countries enact more progressive legislation, Russian gay activists will get bolder, as they should, and Putin will probably dig his jackboots in.
